Length Converter by Gigra is a Windows program that lets you convert between measurements easily.

Length Converter is a tool developed by Gigra as a way to quickly and easily convert length measurements on your Windows devices. Length Converter is freeware, but it does have some ad elements that we will discuss in the conclusion. The tool lets you convert centimeters, feet, inches, kilometers, meters, miles, millimeters and yards. You could, for example, enter 100 feet and set the conversion to meters. The result would be 30.48.

This is quite handy for those of us who do work where both the metric and imperial system must be supported. However, the functionality is not limited to imperial to metric and vice versa. You could, for instance, convert 100 feet to inches and get 1200 as a result. Unfortunately, the program does not extend beyond length measurements, and possessing an even broader selection of measurement types would make the program even more useful.

An app like Length Converter may be a better fit for mobile devices. If you need to figure out inches to centimeters, for instance, on a PC, you just type that into Google and get an immediate response. That is not as convenient on a smartphone, so a dedicated app like this makes a bit more sense. Perhaps this app meets the need of a niche audience who needs to convert on PC devices that lack Internet access.

Some people must be using the app. After all, the app was recently updated as we performed this review, and it was updated to support Windows 10. If you choose to proceed with Length Converter, please take note during the installation process. Gigra may include one or more adware components. These are optional, but they are active by default. That means that if you rush through the installation process, you will install some bloatware that you likely do not want.
